Oceania Dairy Limited has signed its first milk supply agreement for its new $214 million Glenavy dairy factory.
Oceania Dairy Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group (Yili), China’s largest dairy company. The state-of-the-art Glenavy processing plant has been designed for the production of milk powder for export to China where it will be used by Yili to produce infant formula.

A significant road-works project on State Highway 1 at Glenavy will commence in early October to prepare for the opening of the $214 million Oceania Dairy processing plant.
A slip lane, turning lane and lighting will be added to the intersection of State Highway 1 and Cooneys Road to cater for the increase in frequency and size of vehicles using the intersection when the factory opens in the middle of 2014.
